The Next Generation Tear Tape Spooler Is Here Today
We all know that the aesthetics of a tear tape spool is becoming more and more important for the end user. It is typically
true to say that 'if it looks goods it works well', therefore, edge profile and roll density (winding tension) is super critical
when processing narrow width adhesive products of this type. The manufacturers of such materials require equipment which
is compact in design, reliable and can efficiently provide products which meet the end user's requirements. Double R Controls
Ltd. have always built equipment to meet these needs, however, we have now moved to the next stage with our compact, low cost,
value for money design Spooler which has been specifically tailored for the tear tape industry.
A 48 station spooler processing product on 29 mm/30 mm cores is supplied in three robust sections incorporating many of the
best principles used on our equipment which has been developed over the last 20 years. We have also introduced some very,
very new and novel features to further improve the operation of the equipment. The emphasis is on simple design, reliable
operation and high quality manufacture all adding up to a superb finished product.
Edge profile and roll density are at levels that the tobacco industry has never seen before and will soon be demanded by them
from all manufacturers of tear tape. However, 'the proof of the pudding is in the eating' and
we will stand by the quality of our equipment and prove that we can produce rolls to a standard higher than is already
available. All you need to do is send us six rolls of tear tape and we will rewind three of them and present them to you to show you
the difference. Yes, we can even take good rolls and produce superb rolls on our in-house test facilities.
