Double R Consol Ltd.

Double R Consol design and manufacture an extensive and comprehensive range of converting equipment, primarily in the areas of slitting and rewinding machinery. Additional products include shafted and shaftless unwinds and rewinds, doctor/salvage rewinders, coating and laminating machinery as well as special purpose applications.

Prior to being acquired by Double R Controls in 2005 and becoming part of the Double R group of companies, Converting Solutions Ltd (Consol) had been in operation for 10 years and was a specialised manufacturer of value engineered quality slitting and rewinding machinery, including bespoke applications for paper, film, metallised foils, and nonwoven web industries worldwide.

Following the acquisition of Converting Solutions Ltd, the name was changed to Double R Consol increasing the size and portfolio of the Double R group considerably.

At Double R Consol, we are very proud of our highly qualified workforce and the technical expertise we offer. This is reflected in the standard of technology that goes into all our machines. With mechanical, electrical and software design engineers all working closely together, we are able to continually develop and improve our extensive range of machinery while maintaining our position at the leading edge of innovation and technology.

70% of all Double R Consol machines are produced in-house in our own engineering and manufacturing facility. Our electrical, electronic and software divisions are also located on-site, making sure we are able to offer a complete package to all our customers, wherever they are located in the world.
